Key 49ers Miss Practice Ahead of Cowboys Showdown
The San Francisco 49ers are facing some challenges as key players missed practice on Thursday, just four days before their highly anticipated rivalry renewal with the Dallas Cowboys. Notably, defensive end Nick Bosa was among those absent due to an elbow injury.
In addition to Bosa, seven other 49ers were sidelined during Wednesday’s practice due to various injuries. These include:
- Receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. golden plus app (wrist, illness)
- Tight end George Kittle (foot)
- Running back Jordan Mason (shoulder)
- Receiver Jauan Jennings (hip)
- Defensive lineman Kevin Givens (groin)
- Safety George Odum (knee)
- Receiver Chris Conley (ankle)
- Kicker Jake Moody (ankle)
Additionally, tackle Trent Williams was given a rest day. Coach Kyle Shanahan mentioned that Samuel, who was hospitalized with pneumonia, may still have a chance to play on Sunday.
The 3-4 49ers will host the 3-3 Cowboys this Sunday night, a match that can be watched on NBC and Peacock f2 logistics cargo movers.
UPDATE 7:40 p.m. ET: The 49ers have clarified with PFT that Bosa was indeed limited in practice. Yet, the team’s official online injury report still states he did not practice as of the original posting and this update.
